Privacy and saved progress

Playing on this device

Play Meowdoku saves your puzzle boards, undo history, active play time, hint counts, daily completions, cat collection, and preferences in your browser’s local storage. You can play without creating an account. Clearing your browser’s site data removes these local saves.

Optional accounts

If you create an account, we store your name, email address, password hash, sign-in sessions, and saved game progress in Cloudflare D1. Better Auth manages authentication. A session cookie keeps you signed in. Your password is not stored as plain text.

Signed-in progress syncs between devices. Completions are combined, and the most recently edited attempt is kept when the same puzzle changes on two devices. Signing out returns this browser to its guest save; your account save remains available when you sign in again. You can export progress from the account menu.

Account emails

When email delivery is enabled, Resend handles verification and password-reset messages. Those messages include your email address and a temporary action link.

Hosting and external content

Cloudflare hosts the site and may process request information for security and operation. Some guide pages contain third-party games, videos, or links, whose providers have their own privacy practices. The original reference site’s analytics and advertising scripts are not included in this implementation.

Website analytics

We use Fathom Analytics to measure visits and popular pages without cookies. Google Analytics 4 loads only if you choose Allow analytics. You can decline or change your choice using Cookie settings. Declining does not prevent you from playing.

Our pageview tracking sends page paths and titles without URL query strings, account details, email addresses, or puzzle saves. Google Analytics event data is retained for 14 months. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Learn more from Fathom and Google.

Your choices

You can play as a guest, sign out, export your progress, or clear this site’s browser data. Clearing browser data does not delete an account or its cloud save.
