What Is Meowdoku?
Meowdoku is a compact logic puzzle built around cats, colored territories, and clean placement rules. Each level asks you to decide where cats can safely sit without sharing a row, sharing a column, or touching another cat. The result feels close to a gentle Sudoku variant, but the region shapes and diagonal limits make every board a little different.
The game rewards deduction over guessing. If a cat placement is correct, it should be explainable by region count, row pressure, column pressure, or the no-touching rule.

How to Play Meowdoku

Rule 1: One Cat Per Region
Every colored region must contain one cat. Start with the smallest regions because they usually offer the fewest legal cells.
Rule 2: No Same Row or Column
A placed cat controls its entire row and column. Once a row or column has a cat, remove those cells from other regions.
Rule 3: No Diagonal Contact
Cats cannot touch at the corners. One cat blocks all eight surrounding cells, which creates useful deduction chains.
Rule 4: Logic Only, No Guessing
Every puzzle is designed around deduction. Guessing can spend hearts quickly, so look for the missing constraint instead.
